Flame-Roasted Fuji Apple Crisp Crombolini

Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw puff pastry and apples according to package instructions.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 3
Make streusel by browning unsalted butter and mixing with brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, and salt.

For egg wash, whisk egg and 1 Tbsp water in a small bowl.
Step 5
Cut puff pastry into squares, fill with apples, fold edges, brush with egg wash, top with streusel, and roll to create layers. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes.
Step 6
Make caramel by cooking sugar and 2 Tbsp. of water to amber, whisk in cream, butter, and sea salt. Drizzle caramel over baked crombolini.
