FENNEL AND WHITE CHEDDAR AU GRATIN POTATOES
Ingredients
Step 1
Butter 2 oz
Fennel, thinly shaved 12 oz
White Wine 4 fl oz
Simplot Traditions Au Gratin Potatoes, 20.35 oz bag 1 pkg
White Cheddar Cheese, shredded 6 oz
Thyme, ground 1 Tbsp
Water, boiling 2 1/2 qts
Recipe Method
Step 1
  • Melt the butter in a skillet. Sauté the fennel and wine over medium-low heat until fennel is tender and begins to brown or caramelize.
  • Combine the Au Gratin Potatoes, cooked fennel, cheddar cheese, thyme and boiling water in a large bowl.
  • Pour into a 2” half hotel pan.
  • Bake in a preheated 400°F convection oven covered with foil for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
